Note to all men: This post might sound anti-Men and “feminist” to many men but the matter of fact is that whatever I am going to share is not fictitious and it really happens, atleast in my country. The post has been written on the occasion of International Women’s day

Like every year women(or men!) around the world would be celebrating International Women Day without serving the women and their real issues. I am not so frequent in writing anymore but there was something which I could not cover last year which I want to share now. The topic might burn many women who consider themselves smart asses while they are not. I am going to discuss how easily we men fool women and women even feel pride of it and feel *great* that they are being played by us men.

Where should I start from? Ok, I would start by targeting men first. This is not a hidden secret that men by nature has *lust* for women(I’m not talking about gays here) and they always try to justify their lust by different means. On other hand women are considered quite loyalists to the people whom they are attached with. Daughters,wives,mothers are just fewer of examples.

Before I go into details how men fool women, I would like to go back in 1908 about the incident which was all about given freedom and rights to women and encourage them to step out and work in offices. Who does not like to have money? hence women started movement about their rights and all that. You can read all about that here.

As I said above that this post is all about women exploitation by male and how women offer themselves for such exploitation.  First of all I would talk about Media industry modeling and fashion.

Many of you would have heard or even seen on roads(in signboards and TVCs) here and there selling different things. These sales girls are called Models in the language of fashion and media industry. These two ladies are considered top models in Pakistan named Vaneeza Ahmad and Tooba Siddiqui respectively.  Now anyone who is associated with this industry will agree that every Ad campaign is launched by the marketing department of that product’s company. They are given task to contact Ad agencies. On the other hand Ad agencies contact their associated models and other related people to come up with an Ad which meets the criteria of the client. When a model is hired for an Ad, she is actually asked to use the stuff given by the client(product owner here). She/He has to wear clothes given by Ad agency and make-up and all that. After all it’s client’s demands. On other hand Ad agencies and the marketing department tries to sell product by any mean; be it legal or not ,ethical or not, they have to sell their product any way by using the human psychology or I say,men’s psychology .  This type of Advertising is called Sexual Advertising.  The name sounds quite taboo and rude but when you read the details in Wikipedia, it says:

the use of sexual or erotic imagery (also called “sex appeal”) in advertising  to draw interest to a particular product, for purpose of sale. A feature of sex in advertising is that the imagery used, such as that of a pretty woman, typically has no connection to the product being advertised. The purpose of the imagery is to attract the attention of the potential customer or user. The type of imagery that may be used is very broad, and would include nudity, cheesecake, and beefcake, even if it is often only suggestively sexual.

As you can read, this Wiki link was quite unexpected for me because I did not know that there is a branch of Marketing and Advertising which believes in using women as a tool to sell something.

In Pakistan use of sexual Advertisement is not new and uncommon and you would have seen stupid Ads like for Guy Soap in which a stupid lady says ,”What a guy!” after watching a handsome guy.  Similarly I find no connection of Honda Bike Ad, Treet Razor Ad and several other with Women. They were just injected in Ads just to make them spicy.  As the Wiki article  exposed that these women are used just to play with Men’s nature of having lust for women. In urdu we say it “Tharak” and such person is called a Tharki. These marketers know that as long as there’s a woman in Ad, there’s a probability that people would pay attention to the Ad. Wajood-e-Zan se hay Tasweer-e-Kainat may Rang,, if Iqbal would have seen such implementation of his Ad he would have committed suicide before saying any other verse. In marketing it’s said, Jo Dekhta hay wo Bikta hay and men in marketing and sales know quite well how to use these women. Did you or any of those models ever think why these men ask them to expose their body? why do they have to show off their body parts or make such seductive moves to sell a product? Did you find men selling product in similar way? If you are a model, I ask you that did you ever feel how do you act like a prostitute for these men? Did you ever feel how we men use you as condoms and flush you out when you’re not needed?. Sounds yucky haan? but this is the fact!! Nobody wants to see aged models. Nobody would like to see Tooba and Vaneeza at age of 70 because at that time there wouldn’t be anything in them which could turn men on. Nobody cares about these models after certain age.Either these “modern” women bank on their husbands or commit suicide. You guys should watch Fashion, an Indian flick which has discussed about the harsh reality of how men exploit these “top notch” women are used by men and just throw them out when not needed. An eye opener I must say.  Similarly these women are exploited in similar ways in movies and TV dramas as well. Watch current Pakistani TV dramas, every other actress looks desperate to free herself from clothes to get more exposure. This is why the talented actresses like Maria Wasti and Ayesha Khan also could not save herself and become victim of modernism and now feel quite ok to lie in arms of every other men in the name of script’s demand. Obviously, the party which is being exploited is none other than women. Men on other hands are enjoying the company of different women free of cost hence satisfying their lust.

This process is not limited to media industry only. Women working in other fields have also been fooled by men one way or other. Unlike media there is no such thing like bold exposure but men one way or other approach women and harass them at work place.  I have got chance of working in co-environments where noble looking men have made efforts to gain the attention of their female colleagues. I have also seen how some women used to come in skimpy clothes so that they can get promotion without doing any kind of job. The funniest thing is that these women who expose themselves professionally or willingly feel proud of what they do. They think that they are fooling men by playing with emotions and making them unrest but these idiot women don’t know that men just need some object like a woman to fulfill their desires. These women are like toys for them. They are not loyal with them. Unfortunately these self-acclaimed smart women never ever understand men’s nature hence they become victim of them. I have seen myself how few guys of a famous company were discussing about their peer colleague who used to believe in open source hence rarely wore full clothes on her body. I really got pissed and mad because they were using quite a cheap language for the peer who might have trust on those guys as friends but then on other hand I thought that the lady herself gave those guys a hint to abuse her. Should men be blamed here only? I don’t think so because those guys were just fulfilling their tharak nothing else. I wish I had something so that I could give some proof to the poor lady but I had not. That girl *could be* spared from such comments if she would have used proper dress. She herself lost her respect hence she presented herself as prostitute for other men out there.

Things don’t end here. Several times you would have read that a guy fooled his girl friend and raped or molested her one way or other by making her video or taking *uncommon* snap shots via mobile. The girl on other hand who starts considering that guy her savior and prince charming happily submits herself to the guy. This guy was able to molest the poor girl because she got fooled easily by the guy. Forget about dating you see in different restaurants. We are living in the era when girls and guys often get ready to live together without any legal bondage. End result? Girl commits suicide and the guy escapes. This does not happen in Pakistan only. This sad and shocking news about sexting says enough about how women are being exploited in civilized part of the world as well. Things does not end here. There are several other incidents which reveals the sad reality about using women for various purposes. Ironically women play major role to exploit other women when they become a medium between a women and man. Women running brothels are the classic example of such exploitation.

We men know quite well about women nature and men know quite well how to exploit women. The work started in early 1900 opened several doors of such exploitation which modern women happily digest and feel proud of it. It’s quite a bitter fact that men have been fooling women for centuries without giving them a feeling of it. You women who feel proud of being  modern women and feels great that how a man gets desperate of your “adaain”,”latkay jhatkay” aka seductive moves.  Is it not ironic that women who wants to be independent of money given by male elders at home happily become dependent on several strangers out of home?I would just like to inform you respected ladies that men just use you for their own purpose and fool you in such a smart manner that you don’t even feel about it. A bitter but yet it’s still a fact. Deal with it! You women yourself become fuel of such fooling and no one else can be blame for it.

Next time when you see some pretty woman hanging on top(on sing boards) or being treated well by men, be careful!!, you are being fooled by men pretty soon.
