Bloody BasantAs everyone was expecting, According to today’s DAWN:

Ten people, six of them children, were killed while hundreds of others received multiple injuries on Sunday as Lahorites celebrated Basant, ignoring official calls for responsible kite-flying.

Eleven-year-old Umer Farooq was killed in Gulshan-i-Ravi when the string of a stray kite slit his throat.

Farooq’s relatives and people of the area wanted to lodge a murder case against the Punjab government. On police refusal, they held a demonstration and raised slogans against the chief minister and the district nazim for allowing kite-flying.

They should!!

Who cares if 6 kids died, after all, changes demand sacrifices No? We have to donate our kids and people in the name of secularism, enilightment and moderation and “soft image”. So what If govt don’t give a damn to order given by supreme court. Supreme court is run by some bloody backward Mullahs who don’t even know that we have been taking steps for Progressive Pakistan,we will do ANYTHING to promote SOFTIMAGE whether it demands beating a kid who demands the release of his kid or banning people to offer prayer to save our real friend Tony Blair abd then say Sorry.

I wonder how our hard liner local secularist, enlightened and moderated class would react on this incident who have been busy here to condemn Islam or Mullah by every mean. Maybe they ignore it and don’t pay attention since it’s not “offending” their ideology? Anyways, we have to sacrifice more and more people in future, whether it’s in name of religion or anti-religion. *sigh*
